Christmas cards have become a big ordeal for some people. When will you get them out, where should you buy them, and of course – what your family photo looks like. Because of all this they can become yet another stressful chore during the holiday season. I, myself, barely had time to throw one together and had to forgo the traditional family portrait this year, and get a little creative (I’ll share that story a little later).
This lovely family, however, was separated for a short period during the start of the holiday season due to work travel and mom was just not going to stress over Christmas Cards – kudos mom! So what was her alternative?
That’s right – New Years Cards!
Okay, in theory – just as stressful. But in reality, letting something go right before the big holiday, and not worrying about it until later, can really be a huge relief. Plus, I got to open a card from them on the first Monday of the New year, which was a real treat after packing up all this year’s Christmas cards.
