I had the extreme pleasure of photographing the National Military Family Association {NMFA} today while they washed the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.
This is a truly unique community service project open to virtually any group interested in donating their time to the community and our nation.

Very cool! love the photos and love seeing military families taking care of the memorials. Very touching (especially the way you were able to capture it).
Thanks Corrie. It was pretty cool to see NMFA taking care of the memorial. Really a great military and family focused organization. A few of them even had family on the wall, which added more emotion to the day, which I think showed in the photographs.
