About Us
Jenni & Chris
Hi! we are Jenni & Chris, the owners and photographers of Jenn Elisabeth Photography. Both military veterans, we met while serving abroad in the Army. We were married in 2006 and we have four adorable little babes that keep us busy as can be.
Our passion for photography began while living in
Germany and while Jenni was studying crime scene photography. We spent most of our time working on her assignments and learning about cameras and the photographic process. When we were graced with the good fortune of moving to Bavaria, Germany – our passion for capturing the world around us simply grew into an obsession.
We began to grow our family while still living abroad and quickly realized how much we enjoyed capturing our life and the lives around us in photographs. We honed in on family portraiture when we found ourselves less than satisfied with the product we were receiving from chain photography stores. We wanted memories of our family that felt natural and real – portraits we could treasure forever. So we resorted to photographing ourselves and were much happier with our “selfie” portraits.
We began to realize that others enjoyed our family portrait style as well and it was a dream come true to start seeing our work on our friends and family’s walls. From there our dreams became a reality when we opened By Jmill Photography in July of 2014 – Now Jenn Elisabeth Studios – specializing in contemporary family and newborn portraiture.
